Working in USA
 
Working On-Campus
 
All international students are allowed to work on-campus without any authorization from USCIS. However, you need documentation from the Office of International Affairs. Hourly limits on employment for scholarships and assistantship is 20 hours per week when school is in session. When school is not in session the limit is 40 hours per week.
 
Working Off-Campus
 
International students are allowed to work off-campus under three categories. International students are required to obtain the authorization of USCIS in order to work off-campus.
