Prospective Graduate Students
 
You may contact the Office of International Affairs to request a hardcopy (printed copy) of the application materials for the Graduate Program at UL Lafayette. All the application materials need to be mailed to the Graduate School. Once your application is complete, the Graduate School will forward your application materials to the respective departments. Once the department makes a decision on your application, the Graduate School will be informed. The Graduate School will then send you the SEVIS I-20AB and other relevant information to the applicant. For more information, refer to the department or to the current Graduate Bulletin. International students can directly contact the Graduate School regarding their pending admission.

The following materials are required in order to consider an application is complete:
  • Official Graduate Recorded Examination Score from ETS.
  • Official TOEFL Score (minimum 213 on computer based testing) from ETS, if the first degree is not from an U.S. institution.
  • Forms for UL Lafayette
    • Completed Application form
    • Official Transcript of Undergraduate studies and Graduate studies (if applicable)
    • Three letters of Recommendation
    • Financial Information Form (Note: I-20AB or IAP-66 cannot be issued without a completed Financial Information form)
    • Completed Immunization Policy
    • Optional Application for Graduate Assistantship
